Successful Pembrokeshire Charity requires Volunteer Treasurer

Us:

Following the retirement of our previous Treasurer, we are looking for a new volunteer to take on the role.

We are a successful charity with over 20 years track record in Pembrokeshire. You will join a team of active and committed Trustees, five members of staff and a healthy network of volunteers, vehicles and users.

Your role will be to support our staff with the financial management of the charity, oversee funding bids and grant management, and to help us take a strategic overview of the charity's finances.

You will not be required to carry out day-to-day book keeping duties (unless you'd really like to!).

Time Commitment:  Trustee Board meetings (approx 5 times per year, usually Monday evenings in Haverfordwest) and Finance Meetings (approx 5 times per year at a time and place to suit you).

You:

Would like to use your previous experience in business, finance, local government, running a company or as treasurer of another voluntary organisation.

Interested in helping elderly and disabled people and others who have difficulty with transport [prior experience of community transport is not necessary].
